The home-groups at LHBC are specifically aimed at accomplishing four things.
- More prayer to God among one another
- Specific Bible memorisation
- Learning from the Scriptures
- Spiritual fellowship among one another
To those ends, our home-groups make specific times for prayer and Bible memorisation, but then also force us to open our Bibles and discuss the spiritual lessons among one another for the sake of understanding and application.

Expository Studying describes the preacher’s sermon preparation of interpreting the Scriptures correctly.
Expository Preaching describes a sermon that not merely uses the Scriptures, but explains the meaning of the text.
Expository Fellowship is therefore the spiritual ministry among one another after the sermon.
Using this guide, the teaching and fellowship part of our home groups reminds us of the text and its meaning, and then propels us to meaningful exhortation and application.
