By Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

The proof that one has the love of God is not in warm fussy sentimental feelings about other Christians, but in active, visible deeds. Love is primarily an action; not a feeling, nor a mental commitment.
Romans 12 lists some of the actions of Christians who excel at loving their fellow Christians. The command is clear in Romans 12:10
Love one another with brotherly affection.
In Romans 12:12 the actions of patience in difficulty and prayer are listed as loving actions.
Romans 12:13 adds the simple actions of meeting a material need and opening your house as a place for Christians to come together, be served by you, and fellowship.
Romans 12:16 challenges those committed to love to sort out any personal grievances they might have with one another and mix with those outside their own little clique.
There is more in Romans 12, but this is enough for us as Christians to stop and think that we really need to re-evaluate how we think about the love we have for one another.
Let us love, not only in word or talk, but in deed and in truth.
Be intentional when you are with one another. Plan when you are going to be with Christians and plan who you are going to talk to and what you are going to talk about.
By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
