By Many important things need to be addressed today. Important personal matters, government policies, finance decisions, marital responsibilities, parenting opportunities, and a host of other important things need to be addressed today. But even the important things in life are ranked. Some are simply more important than others. With limited resources it might even be that some important things never get addressed because of things of greater importance.
Before you continue to the next important matter of your day, consider what is, without argument, the most important.
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Have you given thought to that which is of first importance? Christian, with the reminder that your sins are forgiven by Christ, that there is no condemnation for you in Christ, and that you are walking as a new creation in Christ, go, and deal with all your secondary important matters in accordance with the Scriptures too!
