train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

Tuesday: OBEY A COMMAND
Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.
Proverbs 3:7
- Look for a command in the Bible that you are either not obeying at all, are struggling to obey, or have neglected for a while. If a particular Biblical command does not immediately spring to your mind, browse through Ephesians 4 and 5, Romans 12, or Titus 2 for help. Pick a command that is relevant for today, and one that you are tempted to suppress and instead, obey the Lord your God.
- Pray for God’s forgiveness of previous failures to obey that command.
- Pray for God’s grace to enable you in obeying that command no matter how difficult.
