When we think of emergency services, we think of the police, paramedics, armed response, and things like that. The reason why we consider these emergency services is because they all require as speedy a process as possible, because if there is even the slightest unnecessary delay, the consequences would escalate quickly. If an ambulance is late, the person dies. If the police show up late, crime increases in quality and in quality. If the armed response arrives late, they have no more purpose.

All 9-1-1 services must be quick, because of the reality of 8-1-1 — Ecclesiastes 8:11,

Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.

Ecclesiastes 8:11

Justice is an emergency service in a sin-cursed world. This is true on a national judicial level, it is also true on a corporate level, and even a home level. All those with responsibility for rewarding good and punishing evil should consider justice to be a matter of saving those involved from sudden escalating destruction.

The quicker a wrong is identified and corrected by the appropriate authority, the more peaceful our country, society, and homes will be. Justice is a rescue mission for offenders of all ages.
