By Talking about God – that is something we can all do. We can tell people about God and what He has done and is currently doing in our lives.
Believers naturally enjoy talking about God. The spiritual worship of our hearts always clamours to get out, spilling over in our attitudes and words.
I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.” I have told the glad news of deliverance in the great congregation; behold, I have not restrained my lips, as you know, O Lord. I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart; I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation; I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness from the great congregation.
Psalm 40:8–10
Christian, be in a habit of talking about God and His work in your life. I don’t mean the superficial ecstatic inclusion of “Jesus” in every second sentence, but rather the inclusion of your daily experience of the truths so clearly taught in Scripture.
Consider the example of the nameless believing girl who was removed from her family and made a slave of a military leader’s wife.
Now the Syrians on one of their raids had carried off a little girl from the land of Israel, and she worked in the service of Naaman’s wife. She said to her mistress, “Would that my lord were with the prophet who is in Samaria! He would cure him of his leprosy.”
2 Kings 5
This girl cared for the undeserving and used their own troubles to point them to the spokesman of the true God. She is indeed a spiritual hero believers since then can imitate.
Talk to others about God. Tell others of the true and living God; point them to the Bible; show them Christ.
