What are your daily activities? Ever sat down at the end of the day and written down the list of activities of that day? We might have a task-list of what we should do each day, but do you take stock of what you did do each day? If you had to group activities together, what categories of activities will you have? Start now even, and write down what you have done this far, then take that piece of paper with you, and after each activity, add it to the list. What do you think it will look like by the end of the day?
Would you have prayed in secret (Mt 6:6)?
Would you have enjoyed reading your Bible (Ps 119:16)?
Would you have done good to others (Heb 13:16)?
Would you have treated your spouse rightly (Eph 5:33)?
Would you have rejoiced much in the Lord (Phil 4:4)?
Would you have given much thanks (1 Thess 5:18)?
Take stock of your days, that you may not forget the Lord your God.
So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
– Moses, Psalm 90:12
