God’s sovereignty is clearly affirmed in His Word and displayed in His world. It requires a proper response from us.

First of all, it requires our worship. That a Being exists with absolute rule over all things is something that deserves recognition. That such a Being is the God Who loves and cares, deserves worship.

The LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice;

Psalm 97:1

That the Lord is absolutely in control requires of us humble trust. We ought to sense our own lack of sovereignty when comparing ourselves with His absolute sovereignty. We can recognise the good and bad of this life, but only God is actually in charge of it all. We cannot even predict whether the next moment will be good or bad. Therefore we trust the One Who is governing all the good and all the bad for His purposes

In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that man may not find out anything that will be after him.

Ecclesiastes 7:14

In addition to joyful worship of the Lord who reigns, and in addition to the humble trust in the Lord who knows and controls what we cannot, we ought also to submit decisively to the absolutely sovereign God. God decided what is right and wrong. God knows even the hypothetical outcomes of every action. Surely then when He tells us what we ought to do, we should stop thinking we know better and just do it His way!

Be not wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD,
and turn away from evil.

Proverbs 3:7

Absolute sovereignty in one being would terrify us if that being where not also perfect love, justice, and righteousness. Because the Lord is the absolute sovereign one, we worship Him joyfully, we trust Him humbly, and we submit to Him decisively.
