If God has eyes, this is what they would see.
The eyes of the LORD are in every place,
Proverbs 15:3
keeping watch on the evil and the good.
God knows everything about everyone. He knows our daily activities; He knows our thoughts; He even knows what we are going to say before we say it (Psalm 139:2-4).
What do you do with an all-knowing God? You can’t deceive Him by only showing your public side, for He knows your private habits too. You can’t trick Him with a righteous front, for He knows your thoughts. You can’t think about how to justify yourself, for He knows the lie of your excuses before you even speak them. We will give account of our lives to the One Who knows everything (Hebrews 4:13).
For us who have been forgiven of our sins, the all-knowing God is a great comfort. He knows that we are walking in the way of righteousness, and He knows every act of evil done to us. He will reward the righteous, and He will destroy the wicked (Psalm 1:6). God’s all-seeing eyes and all-knowing mind is the reason why we get up every morning, confess our sins, and obey His word. He sees it. He knows it.
