By What a glorious day that will be, when wickedness, and those who do it, are no more! As guaranteed of God’s knowledge of us is, so guaranteed is the destruction of the wicked.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
Psalm 1:5-6
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
for the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.
Judgment day is coming. On that day the wicked and the righteous will be separated. The wicked will be driven away like chaff in the wind (Ps 1:5), and in the remain group of the righteous, not one sinner will be found. Wickedness is going to end, righteousness is going to remain.
Revelation chapter 20 describes the final destruction of the wicked, and Revelation chapter 21 describes the new heavens and the new earth in all its righteousness!
the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed. … But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
