Spiritual Source of Stress

Kwezinye izikhathi istress silwethwa yilesono esidala sokufuna ukuchaza abantu. Ukushiseka esikhothama kukona kokufuna ukuchaza lowo oshadelwe naye, umphathi wakho, umntwana wakho noma umngani wakho kube yikona okulawula indlela elungile yokubhekana nempilo eza ngokusaba uNkulunkulu okukahle. Izaga 29:25 ziqhathanisa lesisithiya (noma ugibe) sestress sokusaba abantu nokukhuseleka kokuthemba umbono laNkulunkulu.
Istress sihlezi sihambisani nokufisa kakhulu ukuphumelela. Umshuamyeli 2:21 udalula ufuzo oluyize lokuzuza impumelelo enkulu ngaphandle kokuba khona kwentokozo kuleyondlela eya empumelelweni.
Okusondelene kakhulu nestress esiza ngokuphokophelela impumelelo, istress sokungabe usazithokozela izinto ezijwayelekile zempilo. UMshumayeli 5:18 uphakamisa ukuthokozela imisebenzi yansuku zonke ejwayelekile yempilo njengalokho okuyikona okuthatha indawo yestress. Kuyiqiniso ukuthi labo okumele kube yibo amanestress ngaphezulu kwabantu bonke, ngokuvamile ababinaso istress, ngokusobala lokhu kubangelwa wukuba nomkhuba wokujabulela ngisho isijwayezi sokusebenza.

NgokukaMakhu 6:30-32 kukhuluma ngendlela uJesu nabaPhostoli bengazange bathole ngisho nethuba lokuthi badle ngenxa yokubamatasa osukwini, ngakho uJesu wababuyisela eceleni ukuba baphumule. Uma uJesu abhekana ngalendlela nestress, akusifanele nathi ukwenza kanjalo?
Okokugcina, kumele kufakwe nalokhu ukuthi siba nestress ngoba kwesinye isikhathi siziphatha engathi uNkulunkulu akathokozile ngathi. Lokhu akusilona iqiniso. Umshumayeli 9:7 ubiza labo abafisa ukuphila ngendlela enomqondo ohluzekile, ukuba bathole ukuthokoza kwimisebenzi yabo yansuku zonke. Kodwa kulokhu isifundiso seZwi siyanezezelwa: “UNkulunkulu usevele ukwamukele lokho owkenzayo.” uNkulunkulu uyathokoza uma siphila izimpilo zethu ngomqomdo ohluzekile, sisebenza ngokuzikhandla ngentokozo enkulu.
Njalo uma usebenzisa igama elithi “nginestress” ukuzichaza wena, impilo yakho, noma usuku lwakho, bheka inhliziyo yakho bese uyabona ukuthi mhlawumbe akukho yini ukucabanga okungekho ngokweBhayibheli okungaba umsusa walokho. Isono siyazona izimpilo zethu, kodwa uNkulunkulu uyenzile ukuba sithokoze ngayo, ngisho ikhona imithelela yesono.
