Be it with a daily chocolate from a commercial Advent Calendar, or an ancient family tradition of remembering the true meaning of Christmas, here are some suggested reading plans as you prepare yourself and your family to maintain a profound awareness of the Truth of Christ, amidst the cultural and commercial busyness.
The Christmas Chronology in 25 Parts
This 25-part chronology doesn’t culminate with the birth of Jesus on the 25th, but it does present the entire chronology of the Christmas events including Genesis 3:15 and the events immediately after the birth of Christ. It is Biblically complete, and for each reading includes the key verses and main point of the passage.
To prepare yourself before you read each section to your family, or to watch together, here is a sermon following those 25 blocks. Write down the recording time each time one section is completed, and pick up there the next day.
